Law firm marketing that brings in the right clients.

When someone needs a lawyer, they search. We help firms show up at that moment, look credible and turn the search into a consultation, without breaching the rules that govern legal advertising.

Why legal marketing is different

Legal clients are often stressed, in a hurry and unsure who to trust. Your marketing has to be credible, clear and careful.

01

Clicks are expensive

Legal searches are some of the most competitive in Google Ads. Wasted clicks add up fast, so precision matters.

02

Trust wins the enquiry

People choose a firm they feel they can trust. Clear expertise, real people and simple next steps matter more than slogans.

03

Conduct rules apply

Legal advertising must not be false, misleading or deceptive, and some states restrict personal injury advertising.

04

Not every enquiry is a fit

Firms need the right matters in the right practice areas, not just more phone calls.

The channels that work for law firms

Firms grow best from strong practice area pages, tightly run paid search and a website that earns trust. Pick a channel to see how we run it.

SEO for practice areas and locations

Clients search for specific problems, not firm names. We build pages around the matters you want more of, in the places you practise.

The playbook

The law firm marketing playbook

How firms win better enquiries from search without wasting budget. A practical checklist for partners and marketing managers.

The Anahaw Media team
Planned and run by senior people, not handed to juniors.

01Pick the matters you want more of

Many firms say yes to everything in their marketing, then wonder why enquiries are so mixed. Start by choosing the practice areas and matter types that are most valuable to your firm, and the locations you want to serve. Every page, campaign and budget decision flows from that list.

02Build practice area pages that answer real questions

People searching for legal help are usually worried and confused. Pages that rank and convert explain the problem in plain English, set out the process, answer common questions about costs and timeframes, and introduce the lawyers who handle that work.

  • One page per practice area, and per key matter type where it makes sense.
  • A page for each office, with a matching Business Profile.
  • Careful language that informs without promising outcomes.

03Treat Google Ads like a scalpel

Broad legal campaigns burn money fast. Tight keyword lists, strong negative keywords, careful location targeting and ad schedules that match when you can take calls all protect your budget.

Track every call and form through to a consultation, so you know which searches actually bring clients, and which only bring bills.

04Show the people behind the firm

People hire lawyers, not logos. Detailed lawyer profiles, with experience, practice areas and a real photo, are among the most visited pages on most firm websites. They also help search engines and AI tools connect your expertise to your firm.

05Respond fast

Many legal enquiries go to the first firm that responds. Make sure calls are answered, forms reach the right person straight away, and someone follows up quickly. Great marketing is wasted if enquiries sit in an inbox.

Rules we work within

The advertising rules for law firms

Legal advertising in Australia is governed by professional conduct rules and state laws. The core rule is simple: your advertising must not be false, misleading or deceptive. On top of that:

  • Some states, including New South Wales and Queensland, tightly restrict how personal injury legal services can be advertised.
  • Claims about results, success rates or specialist status need real care.
  • Your ads must also meet Google’s advertising policies.

We plan campaigns around these rules and flag anything that needs your review before it goes live.

This is general information, not legal advice. Your own advisers have the final say on compliance.

Questions from law firms

Straight answers to what people ask us most.

It depends on the state. New South Wales and Queensland strictly limit personal injury advertising, so we plan any campaign around the rules where you practise, and your firm has the final say.

It can be, especially for urgent matters, but clicks are expensive. It only works with tight targeting, strong landing pages and tracking through to consultations.

Usually a few months for early gains and six to twelve months for strong rankings in competitive practice areas. Less competitive areas and regional locations often move faster.

Genuine reviews can help, but they must not be misleading, and nothing should suggest a result is guaranteed. We help you use them carefully.

Yes. We work with firms of all sizes and focus your budget on the practice areas that matter most.

No. Our marketing services run month to month. If we are not delivering, you can leave.
