What being a Google Partner actually means

The Google Partner badge isn’t something an agency can buy. Google awards it, and takes it away, based on how an agency manages its clients’ Google Ads accounts. Status is reviewed every day against three standards.

Performance70%+ optimisation score

Across the accounts we manage. It shows we stay on top of account health and Google’s recommendations.

SpendUS$10,000+ every 90 days

Managed across client accounts. Proof that businesses trust us with real budgets, consistently.

CertificationCertified strategists

At least half of an agency’s strategists must be certified, in every product area it spends in. Ours hold every certification.

Here’s the honest part: the badge is a baseline, not a guarantee. It proves an agency knows Google Ads and manages real budgets. It doesn’t prove your ads will make money. That’s why we measure ourselves on what your ads earn, not on the badge.

What it means for you

Verified expertise
Google Ads certifications that are renewed every year, not a one-off course.
A direct line to Google
Access to Google’s Partner support team when an account needs escalating.
Early access
New Google Ads features, betas and product insights, often before they roll out widely.
Ongoing accountability
Google keeps checking. If standards drop, the badge goes.

What we do differently

Plenty of agencies are Google Partners. Here’s what you get from us that the badge alone doesn’t promise.

01

We don’t blindly follow Google’s recommendations

A 70% optimisation score is easy if you accept everything Google suggests. Plenty of those suggestions just raise your spend. We review each one and only apply what lowers your cost per customer.

02

Measured on customers, not clicks

We track calls, forms, bookings and sales through GA4 and call tracking, then feed real results back to Google so smart bidding chases buyers, not browsers.

03

Fees that don’t grow with your spend

Our fee is agreed upfront and never rises just because your ad spend does. We have zero reason to push your budget up.

04

Senior people on every account

The certified strategist you meet is the one in your account every week. No hand-offs to a junior learning on your budget.

05

We think like operators

Our director founded and scaled a global eCommerce brand. We plan around margin, stock and cash flow, not just return on ad spend.

06

Month to month, with live reporting

No lock-in contracts. Check spend, leads and cost per lead any time in your live AgencyAnalytics dashboard.

Experience with every size of Google Ads budget

Our Director and Lead Consultant, John Conigliaro, has managed almost 300 campaigns over 15+ years across Singapore and Australia, from local businesses to brands like Canon, Uniqlo, Benefit Cosmetics and Asiana Airlines. Every budget size needs a different playbook. Here’s how we run each one.

Getting started

Tight budgets

When every click counts, focus beats reach.

  • Search campaigns on high-intent keywords
  • Exact and phrase match with strong negative lists
  • Tight locations and ad schedules
  • One goal, tracked properly, before we scale
Growing

Proven and ready to grow

Once tracking shows what works, we widen the net carefully.

  • Add Performance Max, Shopping or Demand Gen
  • Move to target CPA or target ROAS bidding
  • Budget shifted weekly to the best cost per customer
  • Landing page and offer testing
Scaling

Large and multi-market

Big budgets waste money fastest when nobody’s watching.

  • Structure by margin, product and region
  • Portfolio bidding and shared budgets
  • Clean Merchant Center feeds at scale
  • Budget pacing and seasonal adjustments

Google Ads best practices we follow on every account

Certification teaches the rules. These are the habits that make them pay. Every account we run gets all ten.

  1. Tracking before trafficGA4 key events, enhanced conversions, call tracking and offline conversion imports, checked before we spend a dollar.
  2. Structure by intent and marginCampaigns split by what people search and what each sale is worth, so budget flows to what earns most.
  3. Match types on purposeBroad, phrase and exact used deliberately. Broad match only where tracking and smart bidding can support it.
  4. Weekly search term reviewsNegative keywords added every week, so you stop paying for searches that never buy.
  5. Smart bidding fed real valuesTarget CPA or ROAS set from real conversion data and lead values, not guesses.
  6. Performance Max with guardrailsBrand exclusions, negative keywords, clean asset groups and search term insights, so PMax can’t hide waste.
  7. Ads that get testedResponsive search ads with strong, varied headlines, plus sitelinks, callouts, images and call assets.
  8. Landing pages that matchThe page matches the search, loads fast on mobile and makes the next step obvious.
  9. Budgets that follow demandPacing and seasonal adjustments, so spend lifts ahead of peaks and pulls back when demand drops.
  10. Every change on the recordA change log plus live AgencyAnalytics reporting, so you always know what we did and why.

Google Partner questions, answered

Straight answers about what the Google Partner badge means, and what it doesn’t.

A Google Partner is an agency Google has recognised for managing Google Ads to its standards. To keep the badge, an agency needs an optimisation score of at least 70%, at least US$10,000 in ad spend across the accounts it manages every 90 days, and certified strategists. Google checks this every day.

No. Google’s auction treats every advertiser the same, whoever manages the account. What a good Partner changes is how well your account is built, tracked and managed. That is where lower costs and better positions actually come from.

Search for the agency in Google’s Partners directory. You can see our listing here. If an agency shows the badge but isn’t in the directory, ask why.

Premier Partner status goes to the top 3% of Google Partners in each country. It is reviewed once a year and based on client growth, client retention, the range of Google products used and total ad spend. Both meet the same core standards for performance, spend and certification.

No. Auto-apply can change your bids, keywords and budgets without asking. We review Google’s recommendations ourselves and only apply the ones that improve your cost per customer.

There is no fixed minimum. What matters is whether your budget can win enough clicks in your market to learn and turn a profit. We will tell you honestly in your free audit, even if the answer is “not yet”.
